Solution
your options generally boil down to:
2.0 pc speakers
2.1 pc speakers
5.1 pc speakers
2.0 monitors/powered speakers
2.0 unpowered speakers + amp
2.1 powered speaker sets or adding sub to 2.0 set
5.1 home theater system

pc speakers are generally cheaper but also generally sound not quite as good as home theater/hifi/monitor speakers do.

subwoofers will add low end bass. without it, generally you can get down into mid bass levels and thats about it.

for basic pc speakers somewhere around $40-80 will give you many options
for decent monitors or powered speakers $100-200 is a good budget
for home theater systems generally $300-400 is good for entry level systems

not sure what your budget is, preferences are or other such need to know information

The number one consideration is money. Since this system is hooked to a computer you have a lot of options for speakers, DAC, amplifiers and other cable consideration, but you must consider your budget number one.

My system is very simple, a little Oppo DAC and Marantz amplifier and a pair of PSB speakers. The total cost was less than $3,500 but it suits my needs. I was on a tight budget when I bought it but that is what I mean; money is the number one consideration.

ok my budget is not very big.i have only $69 i can wait longer save some more money and double that to $138.i cant do more than 138 because i have to do some other computer hardware upgrades too.

This is something that would be perfect for you at this moment in time.

Going to give you a really good audio experience for your price range at the moment. I've had a 2.1 system for a good 5 years and it's brilliant. I'm currently in the process of upgrading to a 5.1 but that's going to cost a good 400 dollars plus. Go with a good 2.1 system like the one in the link until you've got enough money for your next audio upgrade. Hope this helps.

I have a Cambridge Audio Minx M5 2.1 system - bought it when my local Richer Sounds had a Boxing Day sale, as it was reduced from £200 to £100. Absolutely amazing sound and you have the choice of digital USB or analog 3.5mm inputs.

Shammikit - what country are you actually in ??

What you'll get is market dependant.
I'd argue that your budget will either get you a decent quality 2.1 setup or a low quality 5.1
If audio quality is more important then stick with a 2.1 set at the upper end of your budget.

im from Sri Lanka.

i was having my eyes on this system: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Surround-Theater-External-Speakers/dp/B003VAK1FA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1473738184&sr=1-1&keywords=home+theater+system&refinements=p_36%3A1253505011 . It looks good but once again dont know about the quality. The same audio system is available in a local store for twice the price!! but when you consider shipping charges to sri lanka the price in stores are kinda equal if im buying from ebay or amazon.
