What headphone/headset to get?

I have recently been looking for a pair of headphones, but tbh im drowning in all the options, so i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what to look for and recommend a few.

I have been looking at the Audio Technica ATH-M50, but what other headphones should i consider and why?

I'm primarily going to use it for gaming, and some movies / music here and then.
My current headset is the Razer Kraken Pro.

Sennheiser HD558, open acoustics, so it will get you more depth than closed back headphones. Really light on the head for extended listening sessions.

Beyerdynamic custom one pro, closed acoustics, but amazing sound depth and clarity despite being closed.

you should definitely check those two out.
