Hi

I am looking to buy a fairly cheap small tv for relatives but have never purchased one before and have no idea what the different inputs for them are. I know that their current dvd player outputs through white, red and yellow cables which I'm asuming is an AV cable and a SCART cable. The tv I am looking to buy them is the following; http://www.toshiba.eu/discontinued-products/19dl502b2/

It mentions a SCART input but nothing about AV and I I don't want to buy a tv that wont be compatible.

Sorry if this is a really stupid question but TVs are just never something I've had much any input with purchasing before and googling this has only confused me more.

Thanks for any help.

Composite refers to a video input that is usually yellow. There is a stereo audio input associated with it that the red and white cables would use.
Other video inputs would be S-Video (largely obsolete) & component video which is 3 RCA jacks (also not used much anymore). These are video only and will have audio connections to go with them.
HDMI is a digital audio video connection in one cable which is most common.
