What sort of tablet?

I am debating between the Google Nexus 7 and the iPad mini.

I live in NZ and can pick the Nexus 7 up for around $250 2nd hand while the iPad mini will cost around $350-400.

I will be using it for school work so will need to be able to edit MS Office (pp, word etc). We have wifi at our school so it will be used for web browsing as well.

This is where im stuck at. I like the iPad mini due to its 4:3 screen ratio, much much better for web browsing. But the Nexus 7 is much cheaper and performs really well as well. The other thing im not too sure about is how will i store my word docs etc. on the iPad?

Android is much more flexible..... Go with the Nexus

I live in NZ too and recently saw a Nexus 7 32gb for I think $315 for other day on sale (can't remember where sorry), if you can find that it would be very worthwhile, otherwise I would still recommend the Nexus 7, my friend has one and it's a nice tablet.

Yes, i think that i will go with a nexus. Do you have any idea of a case that has a keyboard or a decent case that has a stand and a seperate keyboard for typing?

I would recommend the 'Logitech Nexus 7 Keyboard' however I would think you may have to import one as I don't think that they are available in New Zealand
