What would be the best laptop for the $500>$799 price range?

I would be using this laptop for nothing more than college work and watching movies. I was looking at the Dell XPS 13 but I am not sure. I would like an SD card reader and an HDMI if I can help it but I don't mind buying an adapter later.

I would look at getting a lenovo laptops as they are reliable and have a good keyboard. Plus they have a good selection of ports on their laptop.

That sounds great! I also found the Xps 13 interesting. Should I stick with that or Lenovo?

That depends on you. Dell tends to be slimer but doesn't have as many ports as lenovo.
