Whats Wrong with my Nero8 !? please help

Hi guys i recently see this Problem happning : I can Make Date DVD or Copy DVD with Nero 8 , but when i try to copy CD or Make Date CD this happens :

in Copy CD : when i put Empty CD after original CD is ready to be Written it goes only to 7% & after that it Fails!

I tried to Totaly ReInstall Windows . tried nero 7 . tried Another Empty CD . non of them worked !
THE CD that i tried to Copy in Empty Disk , succesfully Copied with my Friend Computer by NERO 7 .
i dislike CLone because its little Hard & complex !

What can i do ? to solve this Problem ?

Oh but away i bought Empty Disks with ( Staedtler ) name & with lot of white Points on it , when i put it in DVD RW
some of pointes get Removed & splash on CD because of Heating & Spining of CD & DVD RW ( is it Normal ? )

upgrade to nero 10.
it's all that and the chips...

really tho, it's time for a new optical drive..

U mean i need New DVD-RW ? is ther any were i can find Nero 10 Free on Internet ?

Oh man , i dont think i can , wait a sec if my DVD RW has a problem then how it can read , write & MAKE Date from any kind of DVDs ? it can read CDs but cant write .
how i can Write CD without any Software ? i mean by Windows XP ?

troubleshoot it and you computer more.
flash the ROM to your DVD player..
