where do you plug a microphone into a dell latitude e6500 computer?

On the right side of your laptop( facing towards you) next to the 2 USB Slots there are two jacks one is the audio (line-out) and
the other one is the microphone (line-in) connectors

On my dell Latitiude E6500 (T9400 cpu) the mic input is on the right side of the laptop between the headphone jack and the USB ports.
