Which camera should I buy

I'm from India and my budget is around rupees 5500 that is around 110$. I have found two model those are NIKON coolpix L26 and CANON powershot A810. Apparently both are same. But Cannon is little bit high in price. So I'm confused which one should buy. Can anybody can help me to choose the correct one.??

Both should do just fine, the older Canon models got best in class reviews, but I don't know how the current ones are. Take a look at this site, a very good review site for cameras http://www.steves-digicams.com/camera-reviews/

Before you make the plunge, read some reviews and take suggestions from the forum. Don't aim too low when choosing a camera. I've never heard anyone complaining that the camera they bought is too good.

Don't rule out used and refurbished cameras from dealers and manufacturers.
