So I'm in the market for a new gaming laptop, and I've narrowed my choices between the following:
http://www.sagernotebook.com/Notebook-NP5855.html
or
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834234538
I used this as a guide:
http://www.notebookcheck.net/GTA-V-Benchmarked.140881.0.html
I've never even looked at AMD processors or GPUs, but based on this site they can pull quite a bit more fps than the 1050.
What do you guys think? Or do you perhaps have a better laptop for around $750 you'd recommend? Thanks guys!

Bonus question! GF needs a laptop also, was thinking:

There are certain advantages to each of these, Honestly I think the 128GB SSD adds extra value for the newegg laptop but for gaming performance it does almost nothing. The Graphics cards perform nearly identical, each one excels in certain areas from the other so it just depends on the game really. The CPUs in are pretty close but the i7 7700 is a little better ( small difference). Both are decent and the main part is the graphics for gaming. Since the Newegg laptop is cheaper, performs similarly and has the added 128GB SSD, it would be my choice.
Also for the Bonus question is your GF using the laptop for gaming or regular use ?

even though the fx 9830p cant compare with a 7700hq let alone a i5 7300hq, its better than even the i7 u series cpu. as for gtx 1050 or rx460, i would recommend the rx460. and as the guy above said, having ssd is a bonus.

as for the GF laptop, thats a solid one if it was 2 years ago. but thats y u get it cheap now. spec down on something like a 940m graphics and i5 u series cpu if its not for heavy gaming.

Thanks for the quick reply! She'll be gaming with me, but isn't as concerned about fps or graphics, her price range is around $600-$700!
