after the issue with teamviewer whats a good replacement...? is this issue with teamviewer just with registered accounts?
 
Solution
The teamviewer issue had nothing to do with teamviewer itself, it had to do with people reusing already compromised passwords for their remote control software, therefore allowing strangers access to their computer as the usernames and passwords have been hacked from another website.

This site lets you know if your credentials have been compromised.

From everything I read they didn't other websites did and people reused the credentials

is the issue with people who use user name and password that automatically generated when you open the program or the ones who signed up and have a registered account?

I usually use AnyDesk or SO Viewer. About the last one we've made cybersecurity investigation in our company and it seems like more secure than others. Now our cybersecurity department allows only "SO Viewer".
