Solved! Which tv to choose?

I’m looking to buy a tv soon I have a 1500 budget set aside for one. This tv will primarily be used for video games for my wife on her ps4. I was looking at an oled tv but the guys at Best Buy said it’s a terrible idea because of the high rate of image retention the oled suffers from I also was looking at s Qled and other Samsung Uhd TVs but I’m not sure which models or types of uhd do not suffer from screen retention or permanent burn in. The guys at Best Buy said Qled is my best bet for an all around good tv for games and Netflix binges without the potential of image retention they also said no tv is immune from image retention so I’m not exactly sure what I should buy.

Qled is just Samsung version of Oled.

Even LED can end up with image retention/burn

I wouldn't pay much attention to the smart functions on TV you are better of with separate device even something like Amazon Fire TV box which is around $70.

You didn't state the size you require

If she has PS4 that is not 4k so it may be worth looking at high end 1080p TV
