why does my computer lag when plugged in

if my computer is at 100% and plugged in it works fine but when its not full battery it lags really hard no matter what i do i already looked at a bunch of other threads so i need some new ideas idk my specs but i dont think i have nividia or something

While it is kind of typical to lag a little on battery as apposed to being connected to the charger, it should only be a little.

Now if the battery is going bad, then it will lag more and more. If that is the case, the battery probably needs replacing.
