well... what are your sources of video imput. a computer? or a hd dvr from your television provider? blue ray player? what kind of tv is it?

you say your hdtv is slow, but you post in laptop section of the forums.

are you trying to say that when you try to play HD video content from your laptop on your hdtv (via hdmi presumably) that the video is choppy?
