Wifi Help Please

I take my wife and kids on errands a lot. I stay in the truck and wait. I was wondering if I could get a wifi antenna and hook it to a little router which I would install in the truck, so I could use my wifi tablet. That way No matter where on the Walmart parking lot I was, I would get a full bar wifi signal. I also can make free phone calls and text from my tablet if I have wifi. This would do away with my cellphone bill. lol Any thoughts how I could achieve this?

Hello, I want to be able to pick up any open wifi signal, say from Walmart, Lowes, Wendy's, or Starbucks. I want to boost the signal where I could be anywhere on the lot. I also want to have the wifi antenna hook to a little router so I can repeat the original signal to any device.

unfortunately you need to have good signal before you can repeat/boost it.
