Wifi not getting connected

My laptop was working before for wifi we just changed the router device now its not getting connected to wifi. it works only when its connected to Lan with the wire. i am not even able to see the wifi name in the network identifying area. please fix it.

Try setting the new router to 2.4ghz instead of 5ghz and now search from your laptop via wifi for the router.
