Will a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Compact USB Audio Interface be a better soundcard for my PC?

I have a XLR Microphone with a XLR to USB Converter. I want to know if I will get considerably better microphone audio input if I were to get a Focusrite Scarlette Solo.

The plan is to record audio from my microphone whilst gaming/

Will I be better off with my XLR to USB. Will there be not much of a difference. Is Focusrite the way to go. Am I not giving off enough information? \_(o_o_/

scarlet is 24bit/96khz while your usb adapter is 16bit/48khz

basically, recording in 96khz 24bit is more ideal for production use while your finished product is fine at 48khz 16bit. whether or not you care/want/need an upgrade from what you have now to something else depends on what you are recording, what your current quality levels are like and if you deem the differences worth your while as well as if the device itself that you are using now is performing well without hissing or other problems.

tldr: its better but whether or not its worthwhile is subjective depending on your current performance levels. if your quality is already great then you will likely not notice much audible difference.
