Also, would i be able to play new games on these such as dark souls 3, fallout 4 (hopefully battlefield 1, but doubt it)? Thank you so much!

True, but the OP lives in Australia. Electronics are relatively expensive there. For example, the second link is for a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 with a Core i7-6500 and 1366x768 resolution is selling for $1300 AUD. That same laptop sells for about $650 - $700 in the US.

The Acer Aspire would be the best for playing games. The nVdia 940mx is the most powerful GPU in those 3 laptops. It can definitely handle Fallout 4 at 1366x768 resolution with no problems.

I understand your wanting a laptop, but for $1300 your could get an incredibly nice desktop pc.

If you took this build here http://pcpartpicker.com/list/bnjFf8

Computer ($800)
Monitor ($120)
Mouse+Keyboard ($80)
Windows 8 OS ($90)

For a couple hundred dollars less you could grab a Desktop that will be able to run all of those games, along with the new Battlefield.
