I have a UX501JW with these specs, but i don't know what the interfaces on my motherboard are:

I7 4720hq
8GB of soldered on RAM
Nvidia GTX 960M with 4GB of VRAM
1 TB of HDD storage
FHD IPS 15.6" touchscreen
60 Wh battery (not the 96Wh one)

For more info on the laptop:

Please keep in mind that i don't want to open up the laptop unless i'm absolutely sure that these parts will fit. now i'm pretty sure that the 60Wh version has space for a 2.5" drive but i don't know the interface type. Any help would be appreciated, especially if you have already upgraded this laptop.

Thanks in advance!

this is the drive bay in the 60Wh unit.
SSD yes but it will replace the 1TB hdd that is there now. I suggest an M.2 SSD it will plug into the motherboard and will let you keep the HDD's vast storage
This is the M.2 slot I assume it is empty. you can install a SATA/NVME SSD in there. Example only not an endorsement SATA model shown

RAM yes

yes. before you order, double-check the RAM Timings on the motherboard. open CPUz (download from CPUID.com) open it and look at the memory tab. there you can see the timings of the RAM, try to find ram with timings that match for best compatibility.
