Evening all.

So the hard drive on my laptop decided to bork itself, getting stuck in a continuous loading loop when trying to boot Windows. I bought a new SSD to use as a replacement and seems to be working fine. However - the issue is that I want to reinstall Windows 8 which was pre-installed on the laptop (didn't come with a disk). As there is no Windows 8 key or sticker on the laptop how do I go about this? I've read that the bios should automatically activate Windows 8, but I can't find a way to get the installation ISO for a USB.

Hardware:
ASUS K55A Series
8GB RAM
250GB SSD
Pent. 2020M processor.

Any and all help appreciated!
