Word doc help, is the file corrupt?

Trying to help my mom out with some of her word docs and if I open some of those docs, I get the following screenshot

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Screenshot is not working. Is she using MS office?

Did she installed any updates? Can u try the system restore if it is a recent occurrence?

When microsoft office word detects there is a problem upon opening a document, there should be an option called "Open and Repair". Word will automatically provide this option should think it's required for that document
