Youtube not playing

Youtube is not even loading thumbnails and its not loading videos, the video window stays black and comments arent loading either. Its kind of a new pc too and i dont know if it has something to do with the flash player

Hmmmm you dont need to keep it off... open start menu and in the searchbox type "Advanced" among the results there should be firewall with advanced settings. Click on it and under the "Inbound Rules" click "Action"-> new rule->Add program->select the GC path and finish the new rule
This should allow Chrome on your firewall

What browser?
It might be flash related... or if you installed some sort of ad blocking tool like NoScript it could be wrongly configured and block everything. How are other video sites? Do you have problems loading them?

Yeah I can watch videos on other sites and even play PC games fine but YouTube is messed up. All drivers are updated too, I'm also using google chrome and Internet explorer plays them fine too

so i would suggest resetting your google chrome to default settings or even reinstalling it. If IE plays youtube fine then its a browser issue and reset should fix it

I did and it didn't work.. I tried it with my firewall turned off and it worked but I don't know if I should keep it like that
