I am looking for a camera/camcorder to use primarily for video. I will be using it to record myself performing covers and original songs on YouTube. The footage I will be recording is mainly indoors, usually in low-light. Audio is not an issue because I usually use a Blue Snowball to record it. I just want to record video at 1080p and want to know what my best options would be in this price range.

My budget is $200-$300 Canadian.

As far as camcorder goes the Panasonic HC-V160 Full HD Camcorder is an option.

The downside is that it records interlaced footage instead of progressive:
Video Format AVCHD
1920 x 1080i / 60 fps (17 Mbps)
1920 x 1080i / 60 fps (13 Mbps)
1920 x 1080i / 60 fps (5 Mbps)
MP4
960 x 540p / 30 fps (28 Mbps)
640 x 360p / 30 fps (1.5 Mbps)

Unless you have to have something new you can look at refurbished or used cameras/camcorders.
