3.5mm plug to dual mic/audio isn't picking up microphone

Hello TH forum, So one day I decided on buying these earphones: http://. But my desktop has 2 inputs for mic and audio while the earphones have only 1, so I bought these cheap things http://. And for some unknown reason, the computer is not picking up m microphone at all, I'm very confused and I do not have too much knowledge in these things, SO HELP WOULD JUST BE AMAZING!!!!!

Yes, since the phone has a combo jack

I just don't know if my microphone jack is broken or if the converter is broken

That you can identify by checking the mic with your phone. Then if it works, it's definitely with the converter.

So after researching a bit about the converter I bought(link to it in original post), I found out that the converter doesn't actually allow me to use both the mic and listen to the audio, so now I'm thinking, what product do I actually need to buy to use both the audio/mic?
