Acer one netbook keyboard not working

Hello,
I had to replace the keyboard on my Acer Aspire One 756 Netbook. Followed directions "to a tee" for removing old and installing new. Unit turns on and boots up but....keyboard and touch pad don't work. Any suggestions?
