Solution
Boot to Safe MOde (F8 per http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode#1TC=windows-7) and try a Computer Repair. See if that fixes it.

If that doesn't fix it, try a Last Known Good Configuration (System Restore).

If that doesn't fix it, then try a Windows re-install.

posted to bios fine as its a laptop the bios is quite poop and read what i expected just my cpu and ram.

So if it posts OK, your hardware is OK. If you could see the bios screen, then your graphics and screen are working.

So there's something wrong with Windows.

Have you got a Recovery Disk with your laptop?

i just recoverd it and the same problem is happening might i need a complete fresh windows 8? this is the first time this has happened. but also my bois no longer gives the option to check video card or video memory .-.
