AppMgr MFC Application error

I am currently using windows xp.When I attempted to run the NEC sl 1000 pcpro programming software, it shows the above error.Can you please help?

Hi, I am currently using windows xp professional version 2002,SP3.
There is no error number or error log but the it just shows "AppMgr MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for the inconvenience.If you were in the middle of something, the info you are working on might be lost.Please tell Microsoft about this prblem."

I am afraid this is the only info that I have.I hope this helps..
