Appreciate help please

Have just purchased an LG 2.1 soundbar but my TEAC LED/LCD TV does not appear to have an optical output jack can anyone help please? Do I need to get some other cable?

What model is your TV, and what model is the soundbar? Does the TV have a headphone out jack?
