asus laptop wont charge

hi , i have a asus x54c laptop i press power button and nothing happens i have two chargers for it i plug them in ( not at same time ) and both green lights disappear when switched on so try them in my k50c asus laptop and both work fine .

i tried taken out battery and plugged it in but still nothing so tried the ( hold the power button ) trick but still nothing

Hi,

It may be a problem with the motherboard already but if you're comfortable opening your laptop for some troubleshooting you can reseat the RAM first, take them all off for couple of seconds and put them back in making sure that they are seated properly into each slot. If these doesn't work it's the motherboard that is faulty already.

looking at other posts and this seems to be a common flaw in asus design on all of there laptops , i wont be buying another asus laptop , tried your suggestion laptop_nerd still no joy , very disappointing asus !!!!!!!!
