Asus monitor audio problems

Hi. I recently purchased an Asus MX239H monitor, which has built in speakers. Whenever I use the built-in speakers, or plug headphones into the monitor, I get static. I can still hear audio, but I get static as well, which increases if I'm scrolling down a page or moving the mouse. I don't get any static if I plug my headphones directly into my computer. Otherwise, this monitor is great, but if i cannot resolve this issue I'll have to return it. Any suggestions?

It doesn't work my friend. The monitor may be defective or something. I have tried everything and nothing happens... :pt1cable:

I solve my problem... I have to connect S/PDIF cable from my NVIDIA CARD to MOTHERBOARD in order to play DIGITAL AUDIO... Pffffff!!!! I thought that my monitor is defective, but the end proved that the monitor is fine :bounce:

P.S. : The cable with the green input and output works only with RGB connection not with DVI or HDMI. DVI and HDMI are digital connectors which carry digital audio. :hello:
