I've narrowed it down to two laptops. My price range is $1000. It's between these two:
Acer: http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314220
Asus: http/www.microcenter.com/product/421115/N56JR-MH71_156_Laptop_Computer_-_Black_Aluminum
The plus to the acer is a larger screen and the msata ssd. The acer is also on sale from $1300 right now. I have heard bad stories about their customer support and/or build quality. Asus, from what I hear, is a good all around brand.
Things I need :
Atleast a GTX760m. I'm not a huge gamer but I like to occasionally game (I'm not the type that needs it on ultra at 1080p. Just a casual gamer)
Intel i7 and atleast 8GB ram.
A cool running system. I have a cooling pad and even with my previous MSI GE70 the CPU and GPU got upwards to 100* while playing BF3. Reviews of the Asus say it stays between 85-90 and the Acer goes up to 100* while using Furmark and Prime (doesn't say what the temp is with gaming, just says it's not as high)
A thin laptop. I'd like to stay between 1" and 1.3".
Thanks for your time.
