the green battery indicator light is on when plugged into the wall, but the power button feels like it is not engaging.
I don't see a battery reset button, or access area for a reset.
Is there another way to turn this on? Of course I am in a pinch.

Any insight would be great. Thanks.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in resolving the issue.
- Do try a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter from the laptop then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Test the laptop if it will boot back up.
- If that doesn't work you may need to test the AC adapter first to see if it's supplying enough voltage that your laptop requires to power it on.
- Next is to reseat the RAM, take them off the laptop for couple of seconds and put them back in making sure that they are well seated into each slots.
- Lastly, you may need to contact Asus support if it's still under the factory warranty for a repair it may be a bad motherboard.
