can i upgrade my Asus ROG GL752VW with Samsung SSD 850 EVO M.2 SATA 500GB and Corsair SO-DIMM DDR4 16GB PC19200 - CMSX16GX4M2A2400C16 (2X8GB) ?

Solution
Based on what I am reading on their site ram and a M.2 SSD are supported for upgrade. although getting faster RAM without boosting storage might not be the best price wise move, it certainly cant hurt performance. As for the SSD, it shows a M.2 port and as mentioned on the site it claims support. so It should be good to go with those upgrades.

The ASUS GL752xx M.2 2280 slot connector requires PCIex4 (such as the SAMSUNG 950 PRO MVMe). You need an SSD in M.2 2280 PCIe format (PCIeX4)!
If you look closely... the GL752's SSD connector/slot only has a 4 pin connector on the "M" Key portion of the socket connector... that means it's PCIeX4... unlike the more common NGFFs (Next Generation Form Factor) that has 5 pins ("M" Key) or 6 pins ("B" Key) such as M.2 2280 AHCI. Unfortunately, PCIeX4 SSD cards are a lot more expensive... but generally are of much higher IO performance. Harry Castling, Senior Systems Engineer
