asus x453s not booting but power indicator is on

hey guys. I need your help. i have an asus x453s thats 7 months old. three days ago, my gf inserted a flash. drive on its 3.0 port. then, it simply shut down and when we tried turning it on, only power indicator is on and the battery ind is flashing every 3 seconds. monitor is still black. also, no sound inside the system can be heard, except for a 2 sec soft buzz when i press the power button. what should i do guys? dont want to go to the service guys. btw my battery is built so i cant take it out. help is greatly appreciated thx

according to other people that read tom's guide, if you have a non-removable battery,
remove the power cord and hold the power button for about one minute.
these were asus laptops.
