When running on battery, my X5 has started to turn itself
on every 5 minutes, draining the battery. Has anyone seen
this before?

Do you have any alarms turned on?

Only reminders for meetings. The meetings up to this
point today did not have reminders but it doesn't seem to
be able to stay off for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Wow, the wierdest thing just happened. An alarm went off
for an upcoming recurring meeting and it sounded like the
bellw tolling. A reminder came up for about 50 of these
at once. I wonder if this was the problem...

I don't think so. Looks like Pocket PC version 3.0.11171.

look in activesync's settings on the device and see if the scheduled server
sync has been turned on.
