bad_system_config_info on loop!

i was working with my laptop the other night and it stopped and displayed the "blue screen of death". it said bad_system_config_info, and said it will restart. it has been restarting many times and i've gotten the blue screen on loop for dozens of times. i tried looking for solutions online, and they said it'll be easy to fix it said just keep restarting your laptop by holding the power button and "preparing automatic repair" will pop up. i've tried it many times, but it just doesn't work! any help?

ps: my laptop is a Dell with the Windows 10 update

Holding the power button down is to shut the machine down. Try the Shift key and Function 10 together. If your F10 key has two uses, you may have to use the Fn key at the same time.
