I was having problem of 95% AC in line not charging issue but just solved
doing the simple steps.... (FOR WINDOWS)

1 - Remove the AC line
2 - Use netbook to end of battery
3 - Power on the device and open bios setup (F2, F1 or Del)
4 - Wait for emergency discharge
5 - After total discharge:

PRESS AND HOLD POWER BUTTOM TILL NO MORE LEDS POWER UP
COMPLETE AND FULLY DISCHARGED NOW.

6 - Remove battery
7 - Plug AC line (without battery inserted)
8 - Remove (uninstall) from device manager:

MICROSOFT ACPI - COMPLIANT CONTROL METHOD BATTERY

MY QUESTION FOR GURUS....

THE DESIGN CAPACITY FOR MY BATTERY IS: 47520 MWH <<<

But full charge capacity shows 39128 mwH <<<

Just yesterday this full capacity was 40701mwH <<<

So, how to reset, hack, update firmware or overload the battery
by software or external hardware to reach at least one time
the 47520 mwh to see what happens later in normal windows acpi controller conditions???

Any idea???

Thanks

No my friend, my battery still fine, I just want any software or hardware trick to force overload to reach full capacity just one time....

After that, lets see what windows will do with that.

Thanks

Hello.

It's from September 2011.

Still running fine, 5 hours working with no breakout.

Like I said, I just want to try a overload for nothing.

A new battery is very cheap, around $25

The battery may be working, but as you can see it's full capacity is now less. The only way to fix it is to replace it (and if you get a cheap Chinese battery you will see that it will hold way less of a charge for a lot less time). The lowered max capacity is perfectly normal for a battery a few years old, and trying to "overcharge" it won't work. Even if you could find a way to force the battery to keep charging it will likely start a fire or burst and cause damage to you or the laptop.
