Hello! I'm currently a high school student and I do video editing for projects because it's something I enjoy doing.

I'm looking for a laptop that will be able to run Adobe After Effects pretty well and some advise on what I should look for for video editing. I'm not a huge gamer, so that won't be a problem. Also, I can't go over my budget because it's mainly going to be used for video's and schoolwork so it has to be a Windows OS.

I also need one with a good build. I'll have this for at least 2-3 years so it should be able to keep up with my demands. Personally I just watch youtube videos and browse the internet when I'm ot video editing so it goes from moderate usage.

I've been looking at a few, and I wanted your opinions or recommendations to which one I should get.

Here are some of the ones I've been looking at:

Thank you so much!

Your best bet the 1st or 2nd laptop listed. The others are rather weak. The Core i3 in the Lenovo Flex 2 lacks turbo boost which acts like an auto overclock. The A8-6410 APU in the other laptops is a low power AMD APU meant for entry level laptops and is not as powerful as the A10-7300 APU.

Based on the X264 HD benchmarks in the link below in comparison to CPUs that is a little weaker than the Intel Core i5-4200u, the A10-7300 APU in the Lenovo Z50 would not perform as well as the Core i5-4200 in the Asus V551LA. Click "Show Comparison Chart".
