I want to connect a pair of Bose 201 Series II speakers (with bare wire output terminals) to a Pioneer TX-6500ii Stereo Tuner that has RCA jack inputs. Would using a Speaker Wire cable to Audio Male RCA Connector Adapter Jack Plug be the best way to handle this set-up? Or do I need something else? Thanks!!

Solution
That is a tuner not a receiver. No built in amp for passive speakers like the Bose.
The RCA outputs go to the integrated amplifier which the speakers would be connected.
You would need self powered speakers to connect directly to the tuner.

Oh ... I thought the tuner / receiver was a 30Watt amp for that model mate?

The limited info I could find was hard to interpret.

Would you please identify the rca adapter that you found? Thanks!
