Can i plug in a Headset into my PS3?

Hello, i have the original PS3 which i hooked up to my monitor (HP Compaq LA1905WG) with a DVI to HDMI converter. This monitor got no speakers, so can i plug in a USB Headset (Steelseries Siberia 150) into my PS3's USB port and hear sound from it?

You can get that info from the Steelseries support site. If it is made for Windows only and requires drivers loaded, then no.

No, for some odd reason, sony only supports headsets to hear chat audio and not game audio. You would require to connect the headset to the ps3 sound like so to get game chat audio and then connect it to the back of your monitor if it has a headphone jack. you'll be receiving both game and chat audio this way, if your monitor/tv doesnt include an audio jack, you might need an adapter.
