I live in an old apartment building that has basic cable with no cable box, the connector is located on a wall where it is not feasible for a tv to be placed.
I would like to know if there is a way to wirelessly transmit the incoming cable signal(at wall) to my TV on the other side of the room using a wireless transmitter/receiver system but without using a cable box or other hardware. With the setup allowing me to change the channels using the TV remote just as if the cable was directly connected to the tv.
Thanks in advance,

No there isn't.
You could however place a tuner/cable box at the wall location and use a wireless HDMI or AV set up to send the picture and sound to your TV.

These also send IR signals to the box so you can change channels with the box remote.
