Hello,
Can I use Bluerigger Subwoofer Audio RCA cable as a digital coaxial audio cable to connect my LCD tv to Sony HT-M55 (Mu-te-ki) home theatre system to get 5.1 channel audio.
Here's the link to the cable:
http://www.amazon.com/BlueRigger-Shielded-Subwoofer-plated-connectors/dp/B008UGPBXM/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1453894519&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=Bluer+rigger+subwoofer

I have already placed the order on Amazon and will receive the cable tomorrow.

PS: My tv doesn't have HDMI ARC or digital toslink optical option, therefore coaxial is my only option for 5.1 channel.

Solution
A RCA digital cable must be made of a 75 ohm coaxial cable, Many audio cables will work but not all. Some are not coaxial (twisted pair with separate shield which is not connected at both ends and doesn't carry signal). Composite video cables (the yellow one) is supposed to be 75 ohm but isn't always.
An alternative is RG6RF cable or better still RG11 but that is a bit stiff.

yeah. a coax cable is a coax cable.
where they differ is resistance, shielding, connector plating/materials, the solder points between the connector and the wires.
you could use any RCA cable, you may have a cheap one lying around, one of the red/white/yellow combo cables from a dvd player? hook up the same color and you can use that. this may allow interference, and the connections may not be the best but the signal will get through.
