Can you put a higher amperage PSU for a laptop to increase graphics power?

Hi, I have a dell studio 15. The charger is only 5A, however, the graphics card inside can use up to 15 amps. Graphics card is dedicated ATI Mobile Radeon HD 5470 Graphics
If I get a 20A charger, but with the same voltage, will my graphics card be able to take advantage of the extra power input, or will my laptop limit it regardless?

Thanks
Daz

For one the laptop is the be all end all of power regulation, and feeding it extra amps is a really bad idea, the thing is is that your power brick is probably taking 5 amps of 10 VAC from the wall, and turning it into 12VDC, so 5 amps from the wall can easily mean ~50 amps at 12 volts. using other chargers is not something I would do.
