Cannot get two displays

OS Win7Ult-64bit
PC is connected to TV with HDMI
PC does not detect TV
If TV is ON and HDMI connected, when booting, display appears on TV but not on monitor.

However only monitor appears on Display page in Control Panel.

If HDMI is not connected, at boot, my monitor appears normally.

TV (Samsung) does not appear on playback devices (sound) regardless of whether display is on TV or on monitor and HDMI is connected.

Any suggestions on a different fiddling with the "add another display" will be most welcome.

It had worked before but what really puzzles me is that SAMSUNG no longer appears in playback devices.

No junk on PC, Registry totally clean, BIOS on optimized defaults, system files OK, chkdsk /r no problems, Bitdefender antivirus, Malwarebytes and Combofix. All clean.

Please give me some advice. Thank you.

you installed the graphics card drivers? or running default windows ones?

im not sure if this is right but i think the pc is seeing the tv as the primary monitor. idk about windows 7 but with windows 8, you can press windows key with (P) key to switch through different monitor mode. (duplicate) (extend) (second screen only) (pc screen only) i think your pc is switching between pc screen only and second screen. try put it to duplicate or extend. hope this works 😀
