Canon Powershot Won't Import Video's

I have a Powershot SX240 HS with Windows 8 but when I try to upload my videos it comes up with errors. It also does this for most of my Pictures. Need this sorted tonight please

Sounds like a bad USB connection. Just take out the SD card and read it using a dedicated SD card reader (most laptops have one, if not you can buy one for $5)
