Can't get passed this page

I bought a new laptop in January Toshiba satellite , no disc when I switch it on it says reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key ?? Can anyone help please , I can't find the receipt to take oiy back I really need it for my work

Hi,

Seems like your HDD is not being detected. You need to make sure that the HDD is seated properly into the laptop. If this still doesn't work the only suggestion I can make is to return it to the seller.
