I have an Philips HTS5520. I have connected it to the set top box via a Optical Cable and the set top box renders Dolby Digital Plus Sound through the Cable. Now my Home theatre has 3 surround options namely- 1)Stereo
2)5ch. stereo
3)Multi Channel
When i start the set Top box the HT says Dolby on its display.
Now, I would like to ask as to which of these settings is best for true surround experience??

Stereo is regular 2-speaker stereo (optimal for CD's).

5 channel stereo is enhanced (digitally by the receiver) 2 channel stereo for optimal playback on your system (try it for CD's).

Multi-Channel is the true Dolby Digital Surround Sound optimal for DVD/BluRay/Dolby Encoded Signals for watching TV.
