I have a DVR and the output video is required to be viewed 50 mts away on a Android TV and have laid RJ45 cable and used Galaxy Hi Tech HDMI extender, yet am not able to get the display on TV, Cable was checked using instrument for continuity and found ok.. how do i resolve the issue to get video output from DVR to the TV located 50 mts away without reducing the length
Does the DVR work in short range? I mean does it work at all just plugging it in directly into the TV with a normal HDMI cable?-- Yes it does i also can see images on my mobile app.
Is the TX (Transmitter) connected to the DVR and the RX (Receiver) connected to the TV?--Yes
Is the TX and RX plugged into the wall?----it is kept on a rack and table
Is the RJ45 cable CAT 5e or 6 or better---CAT6 cable
Running HDMI over Cat6 is very tricky. The quality of the extenders varies quite a bit. HDBaseT type are the best. https/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDBaseT
You only mention the cable being RJ45 but it does need to be at least Cat5e or 6 to work.
