I have a DVR and the output video is required to be viewed 50 mts away on a Android TV and have laid RJ45 cable and used Galaxy Hi Tech HDMI extender, yet am not able to get the display on TV, Cable was checked using instrument for continuity and found ok.. how do i resolve the issue to get video output from DVR to the TV located 50 mts away without reducing the length

Solution
With "plugged into the wall" I meant, is the TX and RX plugged in with its power connector

Try with a short RJ45 cable

If this won´t work, your HDMI extender should be faulty
Does the DVR work in short range? I mean does it work at all just plugging it in directly into the TV with a normal HDMI cable?

Is the TX (Transmitter) connected to the DVR and the RX (Receiver) connected to the TV?
Is the TX and RX plugged into the wall?
Is the RJ45 cable CAT 5e or 6 or better?
