Solved! Connecting Majority sound bar to Sony braviaTV via bluetooth

I can successfully connect my smart phone and tablet to my new sound bar but my Sony bravos TV refuses to find the soundboard via Bluetooth even though it too finds my smart phone OK. Any help would be appreciated

It may be that your TV only has a bluetooth receiver built in not a transmitter. You could connect one to the audio output of the TV but since the TV and soundbar have to be in the same place just use a cable.

I blame Steve Jobs for this, he never disclosed his "Jesus TV" idea. Along the line of a improved and working Microsoft Kinect interface, a.k.a. Minority Report. Place a SB in the vicinity of the TV and the screen automatically pops up, "do you want to pair to this?" How hard can it be? Tim Cook is playing too safe.
