connecting TV and DVD audio to headphones

I have a bluetooth headband headphone hooked up to my TV via a bluetooth adapter. It works really well, but I can't figure out how to get the sound from DVD player to transmit as well. How do I hook it up so that I can get sound from both the TV and the DVD player?

If the DVD audio is connected to the TV it should transmit the sound from it to the headphones. If it does not, need to check the manual for the TV and maybe contact the vendor. It may be that bluetooth audio is limited to what sources it can play from.

The DVD is connected to the TV audio. I am using a Bluetooth adapter because the TV is not Bluetooth enabled. My problem is that when playing a DVD the audio will not transmit thru the adapter. The TV audio does transmit.

If your DVD player has an analog or headphone audio out you could build or buy an input selector switch for your BT transmitter.

If not you could add an HDMI audio extractor as well as the switch.
