I'm getting a new HDTV for my room, preferably a 26" LCD TV, but I'm not sure which one to get (something under $1200 is my budget, but should be very good quality). (I don't use cable, so that clears up some things

Wide open to any suggestions XD

Philips new 26" has some pretty impressive technology (26PF5321D/37). Sharp LC26D40U has a great image, as usual for Sharp.

Well, if you're going to buy a Sony, you might as well buy a Samsung instead. The Bravias are made with Samsung LCD modules, Samsung circuit boards, Samsung ATSC tuner, etc. Oh yeah, they're manufactured in Korea by... you guessed it - Samsung!
